A Tawny Port made predominately with grapes grown in our Henderson Valley vineyard in Auckland, New Zealand.
This is our popular Classic Tawny Port, barrel aged for an average of 5 years in a mixture of small Scottish and French oak casks and native Totara oak to give the wine its smoothness and unique wood notes. We use the Solera process when blending our Tawny Port. Each bottle of port contains traces as far back as the mid 1960's meaning the wine was made across 3 generations of winemakers and a huge variety of grapes through this time, some of which are not commercially grown any longer.
Awarded Gold Medal at 2019 CWSA.
